# Seedance 2.5

> ByteDance Seedance 2.5 video generation model with cinematic 4K output, 30-second clips, R2V reference control, and up to 50 multimodal references. Coming soon to AnyFast.

<Note>
  **Coming soon — stay tuned!** Seedance 2.5 will be available through AnyFast once published.
</Note>

Seedance 2.5 is ByteDance's latest Dreamina video model for production-ready AI video generation. It is designed for cinematic 4K video, longer 30-second clips, R2V reference control, multimodal creative inputs, and precise local video editing for ads, social media, ecommerce, and storytelling.

Compared with Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.5 focuses on stronger production control: richer references, longer scene continuity, better multi-character stability, and cleaner high-resolution output.

## Ideal workflows

* Product ads and ecommerce showcases
* Social media campaigns and creator shorts
* Brand videos and commercial storytelling
* Cinematic concept videos and pre-production drafts
* Multi-character scenes with stable identity and layout
* Longer narrative scenes that need continuity across action, camera movement, and lighting

## Prompting guidance

Seedance 2.5 benefits from prompts that read like shot direction. Include the subject, action, environment, camera movement, lighting, mood, style, and target platform. When using references, specify exactly what each reference should control.

```text theme={null}
A cinematic sunset view from a luxury hilltop hotel balcony, overlooking misty mountains and glowing valleys. A couple sits together enjoying wine as golden-hour light softly wraps the scene. Slow dolly-in camera movement, realistic lighting, calm romantic mood, polished commercial travel-ad style.
```

For complex scenes, use references to separate creative intent:

* Use image references for character identity, product appearance, composition, or style.
* Use video references for motion, camera movement, blocking, or interaction timing.
* Use audio or music references when the mood and rhythm should guide the final video.
* Use R2V references when character movement and spatial position need tighter control than text alone.

## How to use Seedance 2.5

1. **Write the scene** — Define subject, setting, action, camera movement, lighting, mood, and platform requirements.
2. **Add references** — Bring in images, videos, audio, scripts, or style guides when identity, motion, product detail, or brand style must stay consistent.
3. **Choose output settings** — Select aspect ratio and duration for the target channel; use longer duration only when the scene needs full story continuity.
4. **Generate and refine** — Review character consistency, camera flow, motion, lighting, and timing.
5. **Use local editing** — When only one area is wrong, refine that region instead of regenerating the whole clip.

## FAQ

**What is Seedance 2.5 best for?**
Production-quality ads, social videos, ecommerce content, cinematic story clips, and multi-character scenes that need stronger continuity and reference control.

**What makes it different from Seedance 2.0?**
